I am way behind blogging and there is so much going on in our life that I have to take the time to finally update my poor blog.
First of all, Happy New 2011 to all! For us, the Miller family, we couldn't start the new year in a better way. Last December 19th we welcomed to our family our baby number 4.
Sierra Nicole Miller was born 3 weeks early after wanting to come for a month and a half. She was 6lbs 10oz/18.5" long. She is perfect and we are both doing great!
Last time I posted, I said there were more posts and pictures to come due to bday events, right? Natalie was turning 9 in September as well and Matthew was turning 4 in November. Natalie and I managed a very nice session that turned out pretty good but I didn't get the chance to do Matthew's or even proof Natalie's because my pregnancy went even crazier than normal.
After dealing with hypothyroidism, migraine, pre-term contractions and stuff, at 32 weeks contractions started getting out of control and I ended up being transfered via Helicopter to a town 2 hours from home at the Loma Linda Hospital here in California. I was 4cm dilated. The doctors told me they were keeping me there for 5 weeks. I was there for exactly one month...probably one of the most difficult times in my life!
I couldn't see my family every day since they were 4 hours away round trip. We had our Thanksgiving dinner at the hospital and I got 3 very special visits from friends I haven't seen in years. Funny thing, none of them live in the state of CA. So, thanks Julyssa and family, thanks Bret and Erin and thank you Chris Jaros. It was good to see you all! I also got a visit from my new friend Nadia. She went and got Olive Garden for me since they were starving me to death at the hospital. I lost 6lbs in a week!!! How sad was that!
My mothe- in-law and my sweet husband were at home the entire time helping with the kids and the house. They did a wonderful job. So again, thanks mom and thank you, Joe. I love you!
I went home at 36 weeks and one week later our baby girl was born. 37 weeks just like her other 3 siblings! She has been with us for 2 weeks now and we absolutely adore her. We can not imagine our family without her. She is a keeper and by far, she is worth the sacrifice!
Boyfriend, the kiddos and I had a beautiful Christmas together with our new addition for the first time. Natalie is D-greatest big sister ever. She loves having a little sister. Mateo absolutely adores Sierra. He can't get enough of her. He kisses her and tells me how much he loves her all the time. Benjamin didn't know she was going to be part of our family but he was sure nice to her. Now he realizes she is another sister and loves her as much as he loves the others.
What a wonderful way to start a new year!!! Life is so good! I am a happy wife and a very happy mom.
I will be posting about Natalie and Mateo soon but for now, here is our Christmas baby Sierra Nicole.
Lily, I had no idea what you have been through! I am so sorry but it does look like she was worth it. She is beautiful! Like all your other kids. What a better Christmas present then to be home with your family with a healthy baby!

Ok, so I was checking my email the other day and we have this ward email, where members can post random things for the ward to see...AND...all of a sudden I see a picture of you in there. I thought to myself, what in the world! Well it turns out that your friend Shillawna Ruffner had a photoraphy special for Valentine's Day and one of her sample photographs has you and Joseph in it. I couldn't believe my eyes, so that Sunday I told her that I knew you and she couldn't believe it either. She then told me that she came from Chula Vista before they moved into our ward. Crazy huh? What a small world. I love her work, very good photographer.

Passed a sign for 29 palms a few weeks ago and thought of you. You have such a beautiful family and I hope all is going well for you.
